Trip to Alaska and West Coast

October 13, 2013 – 50 F and cloudy.  We drove the Avenue of the Giants in Humboldt State Park. The Redwoods were beautiful and makes you know how great our God is. We had lunch in Ferndale, CA. The town is a Victoria village. Most of the houses/buildings are from the 1800’s. We had a great lunch at the Victoria Hotel which started as a stable and hotel in 1799. After lunch we went on a drive down the coast which was a lot longer than we had planned. We did not get back to the trailer until after dark. The drive would have been great if we had not run out of daylight. The road was very narrow and crooked with potholes and gravel.
