11, 2013 -- 52 F and cloudy. We had a
good drive to Myers Flat, CA. The RV Park- Giant Redwoods is very nice. It is
in a grove of redwoods with level gravel sites on or near the river. Again it was
a beautiful drive down Hwy 101 with some fog.. We passed cranberry farms,
beautiful seashore, logging/lumber operations and many logging trucks. Each
beach front town had many restaurants, motels and hotels, old historical areas,
and souvenir shops. We saw our first redwood trees. They are huge and very
beautiful.
