Trip to Alaska and West Coast

July 15, 2013 – We arrived in Billings about 1:30 pm. We are staying at the first KOA in the U.S. It was established in 1962. The park sets on the bank of the Yellowstone River and has all the normal RV park things. However, it is the most expensive RV Park so far. It would be great if we had grandkids with us. They have a swimming pool, hot tub, mini golf and playgrounds, grass, trees, and wonderful flower landscaping. We drove around the city of Billings. There is an old historical part and a new part, west of old town, with all the normal mall and fast food places.
