Trip to Alaska and West Coast

November 1, 2013—51 F and sunny. We could not get into a San Diego Naval Base RV Park. We had to choose one in San Diego, CA. We are now at La Pacifica RV and Resort Park. It is only about 3 miles from the Mexico border. The area is called Chula Vista. We are very close to the southwest corner of the US. We will drive to the park that is at the corner before we leave. The park’s name is Border Field State Park. The drive down was all concrete highways and buildings. LA and the San Diego area must be the largest area of concrete in the world. The RV Park is nice.
