August 13, 2013 – We have had a great day. We went to Fairbanks and drove around. It still looks like a frontier town. It has very few tall buildings. We had lunch at Big Daddy’s BBQ. They have excellent BBQ. Coming home we stopped at North Pole, AK and visited Santa Clause’s House. Jo Ann and Prissy are doing the laundry here at the campground. We had to get quarters at the BX this morning. This morning at 9:30 am we had our first air show and they have been going on all afternoon.
