10/22/09-- What a day! Took us 4 hours to cross Choctawhatchee Bay- waves were 1-2 feet. We could only go 5 mph. It was great to get into the ditch between Choctawhatchee Bay and West Bay outside Panama City. The ditch was not too exciting but it was smooth. Departed Niceville at 11:25 am and arrived 5:00 pm. What a trip. Had dinner on the boat - wonderful Turkey sandwiches and broccoli salad, drinks, and chips and of course Oreo cookies. First mate Jo Ann wishes you were all here. You would be excited.
